More Signs of Fall
On my way home from Milwaukee last week I spotted a large gathering of Sandhill Cranes in a field near Kiel, Wisconsin. I've never witnessed this type of thing before; seeing more than a few hundred cranes filling up the fields. I understand it won't be long before they migrate to Florida for the Winter and come back in March.
Humm..... I know a few people that share the same travel plans.
Cooler weather will make us all wish we had wings...

ReplyDeleteSuch a lot of these beautiful birds, you were lucky to catch so many. Arn't they the sensible ones flying away from the winter!
